The 2010 competition cheerleading squads had their first practice session with this year's choreographer, Megan Abney. Megan is a 2005 graduate of Wayne High School and a four year member of Ohio State's competition cheerleading squad. She now works in Atlanta for one of the Nation's top cheerleading programs, Georgia Elite and writes for Inside Cheerleading magazine.
The hard work of competition cheerleading continues with weekly practice sessions at Studebaker Middle School. Freshman and Junior Varsity practice every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Varsity squad practices each Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a..m. and the middle school squad will practice Saturday's from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
The G.W.O.C. competition is December 4, 2010 with competition begining at 11:00 a.m. Look for updates and additional information as it becomes available.
